Filter the Database View to Configured Tables

Show only the tables already listed in your workflow configuration, or switch back to see every table the schema scan found.

Overview

The database view lists tables in a schema sidebar and a column table. Configured tables only is a quick filter in the database view that narrows both to the tables listed in the current workflow configuration - useful once you have added the tables you need and want to stop the rest of the schema from cluttering the view. It is enabled by default.

To add tables that are not yet in the configuration, see Adding Tables to a Workflow from the Database View.

Prerequisites

  • A workflow connected to a database data source, opened in the database view.

Steps

  1. Open a workflow’s database view.

  2. Find the Configured tables only quick filter in the database view.

  3. Turn on Configured tables only to narrow the schema sidebar and the column table to the tables already listed in the workflow configuration.

  4. Turn off Configured tables only to browse every table the schema scan found, including tables not yet added to the workflow.

Confirm success

With the filter on, the schema sidebar and the column table show only tables that are part of the workflow configuration. With it off, tables not yet configured also appear.
