Product License Management

Introduction

Governor can be used to manage and activate product licenses for Synthesized. This documentation provides a step-by-step guide on how to upload and validate a license, view license details, and manage existing licences.

License Activation Flow

  1. Upload License: To activate your license, follow these steps:

    1. Click on the "Upload License" button.

    2. Choose your license file from your local system, or manually paste the license code into the provided textarea field.

    3. Click the "Upload" button to initiate the license upload process.

  2. License Validation:

    1. The system validates the license format.

    2. If the license is valid, you will receive a success notification.

    3. If the license is invalid or the upload fails, an error notification will be shown, and you will be prompted to provide a valid license.

  3. View License Details:

    1. Once a valid license is uploaded, the system will display detailed information about your license.

    2. You can view the following details:

      • License Status: Indicates whether the license is active.

      • License Expiration: Shows the date when the license will expire, along with the remaining days.

      • Owner Email: Displays the email address of the license owner.

      • License Fingerprint Hash: Presents the fingerprint hash associated with the license.

      • Allowed Feature IDs: Lists the feature IDs that are permitted by the license.

  4. License Management:

    1. If you already have an active license, you can manage it using the following options:

      • Upload a new License: Allows you to replace your existing license with a new one.

      • Delete License: Enables you to delete your existing license, which will downgrade your account to the community free version.

  5. Uploading a new License:

    1. If you want to upload a new license, follow the steps in the "Upload License" section.

    2. The system will repeat the license validation process with the new license file.

    3. You will receive the corresponding success or error notification based on the validation result.

  6. Deleting a License:

    1. If you wish to delete your existing license, select the "Delete License" option.

    2. The system will remove your license information, and your account will be downgraded to the community free version.
